Benefits

Our soap provides gentle and effective cleansing, removing dirt, impurities, and excess oils from your skin. The natural ingredients in our soap help to maintain your skin's moisture balance, preventing dryness and promoting softness. We prioritize natural ingredients in our soap, making it suitable for a wide range of skin types. Our soap contains ingredients that provide nourishment to your skin, leaving it feeling revitalized and refreshed.

How To Use

Before applying the soap, wet your hands or the area of your body you wish to clean with warm water. Warm water helps to open up your pores and facilitates the lathering process.  Work the soap into a rich, foamy lather by gently rubbing your hands together or using a washcloth or bath sponge.  Apply the lather to the desired areas. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry your skin. You're now left with clean, refreshed, and nourished skin. Enjoy the sense of cleanliness and well-being that comes with using soap.

* Tip* After using soap, you may choose to apply a moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated and prevent dryness. This step is particularly important if you have dry skin.

Note our handmade soaps are meticulously crafted in small batches for a truly unique experience. While each batch may vary in appearance, rest assured the scent remains consistent, ensuring an aromatic and enjoyable cleansing ritual every time.

How To Care For Your Soap

  • One of the most critical factors in prolonging the life of your handmade soap is to keep it dry between uses. After each use, place your soap on a well-draining soap dish or a soap saver. This prevents water from pooling around the soap, which can cause it to soften and dissolve prematurely.
  • Use a Soap Saver Bag: A soap saver bag or pouch is an excellent investment for handmade soap enthusiasts. These mesh or cotton bags allow you to use your soap while it's safely enclosed, creating a rich lather. After use, hang the bag to allow the soap to air dry. This also doubles as an exfoliating tool for your skin.
  • Cut Your Soap into Smaller Pieces: To make your soap last longer, consider cutting it into smaller, manageable pieces. This not only reduces waste but also allows you to use one piece at a time, preserving the rest until needed. Smaller pieces are also easier to handle and create less mess.
  • Store Soap in a Cool, Dry Place: To prevent your soap from melting or becoming mushy, store it in a cool, dry place. Avoid direct sunlight or humid areas like the bathroom, as excessive moisture and heat can degrade the soap's quality.
  • Rotate Your Soaps: If you have multiple handmade soaps in your collection, it's a good idea to rotate them. This ensures that no single soap is constantly exposed to air and humidity, helping them all last longer.
  • Use a Soap Dish with Drainage: Invest in a soap dish with proper drainage holes to prevent your soap from sitting in a pool of water. Soap dishes made from materials like wood or ceramic often have built-in drainage, keeping your soap dry and in good condition.
  • Consider Soap Lifts: Soap lifts are small, grid-like mats that can be placed in your soap dish. They elevate the soap, allowing air to circulate beneath and around it, which aids in the drying process and extends the soap's lifespan.

Conclusion: Taking care of your handmade soaps is not only good for your wallet but also for your skin and the environment. By following these tips, you can ensure that your handmade soaps remain fragrant, effective, and longer-lasting. With the right care and attention, you'll enjoy the luxury of your favorite soaps for an extended period, making every bath or shower a delightful experience you deserve.

Understanding Our Ingredients

  • Olive Oil: Known for its moisturizing properties, olive oil helps to hydrate and nourish the skin, leaving it feeling soft and smooth.
  • Coconut Oil: Coconut oil is rich in fatty acids that can help to hydrate and protect the skin's natural barrier. It also has antimicrobial properties, making it effective against bacteria.
  • Palm Oil: Palm oil adds a creamy lather to the soap and helps to cleanse the skin without stripping it of its natural oils.
  • Castor Oil: Castor oil is deeply moisturizing and helps to soothe dry and irritated skin. It also contributes to the soap's lather.
  • Aqua: Aqua, or water, is the solvent used to dissolve the lye (sodium hydroxide) and activate the saponification process, which turns the oils into soap.
  • Kaolin Clay: Kaolin clay is a gentle exfoliant that helps to remove dead skin cells and impurities from the skin's surface. It also helps to detoxify and clarify the skin, leaving it feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
  • Fragrance and Essential Oils: These provide the soap with its scent. Fragrance oils add a pleasant aroma, while essential oils may offer additional benefits such as aromatherapy properties, depending on the specific oils used.
  • Colorant: Colorants are added to give the soap its desired hue. They are often derived from natural sources and are safe for use on the skin.
