Before applying the soap, wet your hands or the area of your body you wish to clean with warm water. Warm water helps to open up your pores and facilitates the lathering process.  Work the soap into a rich, foamy lather by gently rubbing your hands together or using a washcloth or bath sponge.  Apply the lather to the desired areas. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry your skin. You're now left with clean, refreshed, and nourished skin. Enjoy the sense of cleanliness and well-being that comes with using soap.

* Tip* After using soap, you may choose to apply a moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated and prevent dryness. This step is particularly important if you have dry skin.

• Use a Soap Saver Bag: A soap saver bag or pouch is an excellent investment for handmade soap enthusiasts. These mesh or cotton bags allow you to use your soap while it's safely enclosed, creating a rich lather. After use, hang the bag to allow the soap to air dry. This also doubles as an exfoliating tool for your skin.
• Cut Your Soap into Smaller Pieces: To make your soap last longer, consider cutting it into smaller, manageable pieces. This not only reduces waste but also allows you to use one piece at a time, preserving the rest until needed. Smaller pieces are also easier to handle and create less mess.
• Store Soap in a Cool, Dry Place: To prevent your soap from melting or becoming mushy, store it in a cool, dry place. Avoid direct sunlight or humid areas like the bathroom, as excessive moisture and heat can degrade the soap's quality.
